TINY GIANTS 3D OPENING DECEMBER 17,
2014 AT AUTONATION® IMAX 3D THEATER.
SEE AND FEEL WHAT LIFE IS LIKE WHEN YOU’RE
UNDER ONE-FOOT TALL!
Viewers will soon be able to marvel at
Tiny Giants 3D
opening December 17, 2014 at AutoNation® IMAX Theater,
the BIGGEST screen in South Florida. The first original
giant screen film release from BBC Earth Productions, the
film is an adventure of epic proportions created by the
BBC’s award-winning nature film makers Michael Gunton
(Africa, One Life, Madagascar)and Mark Brownlow (Planet
Earth, South Pacific). The film is being distributed worldwide
to museum cinemas by BBC Earth and Chicago-based Giant
Screen Films & D3D Cinema.
Narrated by Stephen Fry (Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows,
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug),
Tiny Giants 3Dwill
transport audiences into our miniature heroes’ astonishing
worlds, showing that the smaller you are the bigger the
adventure. With jaw-dropping drama this pioneering film
reveals the great courage and skill essential to our planet’s
smallest creatures to succeed in a titanic battle for survival.
Ground breaking cinematography and cutting edge 3D
achieve an incredible immersive intimacy that allows audiences
to truly see and feel what life is like when you’re under one
foot tall.
A chipmunk in a wild wood and a grasshopper mouse in
Arizona’s scorched deserts are both forced to grow up fast
when they find themselves alone for the first time. Facing
experienced rivals and huge predators, our chipmunk hero
must find his courage to gather enough acorns for winter.
Forced out of the family home, our adolescent grasshopper
mouse is then swept away in a flash flood. He needs to learn
the skills to survive and lay claim to his own patch of desert
as he becomes an adult. Only by using their ingenious
‘superpowers’ can our heroes not only stay alive but also
become masters of their universe.
