Las Olas Capital Arts is pleased to be
featuring a unique and thought-
provoking artist like Alex.  Las Olas
Capital Arts is the principal
philanthropic mission of Las Olas
Capital Advisors.  The initiative seeks to
support, promote, and celebrate local
artists by providing a venue to showcase
their work.  Each chosen artist has
artwork exhibited in the Las Olas
Capital Advisors office, located on Las
Olas Boulevard – the heart of Fort
Lauderdale.

ong-time Rio Vista resident Jodi
Tanner has founded Las Olas
Capital Arts, a not for profit entity

which supports local and emerging
artists in the community. Her mission is
to celebrate, advocate and promote the
arts and cultural community in Broward
county and South Florida. Jodi has been
a supporter of the arts for many years
as well as presently serving as Vice
Chair on the Broward Cultural Council. 

Las Olas Capital Arts has introduced a
new artist to the Las Olas Capital
Advisors office. The featured artist is
Alex Yost, a Modern Expressionist out
of Miami.

Alex’s work consists of ballerinas,
portraits, celebrities, and much more.
Raised in South Florida, he is inspired
by his surroundings and the people he
has met in the community.

Alex started his art career in an
unconventional way – jumping right
into Art Basel by a stroke of luck.
Much of his work has been inspired by
street artist, Banksy. Alex already has
notable buyers such as Selma Hayek,
Jake Owen, and Jeff Green. You can
find Alex’s work in various local
galleries in South Florida.
