been in an aircraft before? No problem! Examine a cabin
midsection and get an idea of what it’s like being a
passenger inside a real aircraft. Practice your piloting skills
by climbing into one of five cockpit simulators. Choose to
“fly” one of the following aircrafts: Air Bus A380, Cessna
172, DC-9, FA-18 Blue Angel, or a F22 Raptor.

Want to experience the real thing? Climb into the cockpit
of a real DC-9 and see what it’s like to fly a real
commercial liner. Experience the actual size of aircraft
equipment by examining a real tail section from a Lear Jet
after comparing your height with the 15 ft. tall landing
gear from a real Airbus A300. Afterwards, head over to
Pitch Yaw Roll to learn the three basic controls of planes.

Walk over to the air traffic control tower and learn how air
traffic controllers navigate planes. See where flights are
going by tracking real footage on S.T.A.R.S. Radar. See
how many planes share the sky at one time by watching
real footage on an Air Craft Situation Display.

Ever wonder how something so big is able fly through the
sky? At Plane Stuff, visitors can compare the weight of
various metals used to construct an aircraft. Study wall-
sized murals that depict a detailed cutaway diagram of the
Air Bus A380 and a birds-eye view of the Fort Lauderdale
Airport.
