In addition to the Walk of Fame
induction ceremony, the Great
American Beach Party will feature a
day and evening full of exciting
activities and entertainment for the
entire family! The FREE event takes
place on Saturday, May 23 from
10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at A1A and
Las Olas Boulevard on Fort
Lauderdale Beach.

Seven bands will perform live on two
stages throughout the day treating
crowds to classic oldies, rock n’ roll,
‘60s hits, jazz favorites, rhythm &
blues, and more. Get ready for the
Six Foot Swell Surf Band, the
Castaways, Cutback Surf Band, the
dba band, Tom Jackson, Weedline,
and a special performance by The
Fabulous Thunderbirds!

Award-winning LivingSand artist and
sculptor John May returns to present
the Great American Sand Sculpting
Contest from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on
the beach with great prizes in a
variety of categories. 

A Classic Car Show takes place from
11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. along A1A
featuring vintage hot rods, rag tops,
and muscle cars. 

At 2:30 p.m., join us for a tribute to
the U.S. Armed Forces, highlighted by
a precision freefall parachute drill
from the United States Special
Operations (USSOCOM) Para-
Commandoes. 

Plus, we’ll have beach games, water
slides, bounce houses, face painting,
art exhibits, and more!
