Harbor Beach Association Update
Looking Ahead to an Even Stronger 2026
It’s hard to believe another quarter has already gone by! The holidays are upon us
and it’s shaping up to be another wonderful season here in Harbor Beach. As we
celebrate with friends and family, let’s continue to keep our neighborhood the safest
and most beautiful community in Fort Lauderdale.

Your participation is incredibly important during this Annual meeting. We are actively
working with the City to make our neighborhood security even stronger — and your
Vice President presence helps ensure our collective voice is heard. Representatives from the City are
Annette Ross expected to attend, so please join us to show your support for Harbor Beach and share
annette@harborbeach.org
your input.
Treasurer Agenda will include 2025 in review, plans for 2026, Membership drive and all the
Michael Rinzler infrastructure projects for our neighborhood (activities in Lake Sylvia, our bridges, Utility
michaelr@harborbeach.org undergrounding and other infrastructure projects to follow). Remember, this is for active
members only – all 2025 HOA members and Security members are welcome!
Secretary Together, we can continue shaping the future of our community.

Our 2026 Focus: 24/7 Security Coverage
Board Members
Pat Riley Looking ahead, our primary goal for 2026 is to have security coverage around the
patr@harborbeach.org clock. To achieve this, we need approximately 50 new members to join HBA. Currently,
just over half of the neighborhood participates — and we truly need everyone’s support
Tim Stocksdale to reach this important milestone.
tims@harborbeach.org
We’re also building a stronger partnership with the City of Fort Lauderdale and
collaborating on several key initiatives to keep Harbor Beach secure and thriving. One
Jake Wurzak
jakew@harborbeach.org of the recent updates involves new instructions that guards can no longer be stationed
inside guardhouses and must instead remain in their vehicles outside the gates. We’ll
discuss this change — and potential solutions — in more detail at the annual meeting.
Additionally, we are in active discussions with the City about the undergrounding of
utilities, and we hope to provide timing updates and next steps at the meeting.
Dues for 2026: Simplified and Stable
As we move forward, we’re pleased to share that dues for 2026 will remain flat at the
new, combined rate of $4,950. As communicated previously, the HBHOA entity will be
formally closed so no future billings or payments will be accepted. With the
simplification of all prior responsibilities, we are now under a single organization —
F O R T L A U D E R D A L E
Harbor Beach Association (HBA).
