Las Olas Association Update

The Waves

rom the highs of the wave peaks, to the lows of their troughs, Las Olas
Association is not immune to the trials and tribulations of the human
Fexperience right now. We celebrate as our members succeed and we mourn
as our members suffer setbacks, failures, and close. But the two things we can count
on are that, one, change is required, and two, a new wave will surely follow. Our
members and Board of Directors are the backbone of the organization and work
hard to ensure a great Las Olas Boulevard for all who live, work, play and visit.
There are a few highs and lows that the Las Olas Association and its’ members
have experienced over the last few months that we would like to share with you.

One of our high notes is about our Executive Director, Erika Del Rio. She started
OFFICERS her job last year right before COVID hit and has managed to pull together a strong
team to ensure that we could continue to mobilize and keep our community and

of our businesses on the boulevard which was created by our Marketing committee.
This is our creative reminder to guests and businesses that we as an association

your Board of Directors and a little bit about them:
Luke Moorman is our President. He is the owner of Carroll’s Jewelers on Las Olas
and his amazing Grandfather, Mr. Carroll, actually created our signature event,
Christmas on Las Olas, many years ago. He is also the owner of the Georgia Pig.
Luke has a great historical prospective of the Boulevard and serves on most of the
