5TH ANNUAL ART + STROLL

During the 5th Annual Art + Stroll, a mix of art lovers and other curious guests strolled through the lobbies of buildings 200,
201 and 301 E. Las Olas Blvd. in downtown for a delightful evening of food, cocktails and live entertainment while enjoying an
amazing exhibition of original artwork by local artists. Presented by title sponsor BBX Capital and hosted by Business for the Arts
of Broward, Art + Stroll awarded $5,000 in cash prizes to the top three artists. Matthew John Schellenberg’s sculpture, “Her
Beauty Gained Her Everything She had ever Dreamt of...and Much More,” took home the $3,000 top prize. Artist Juan Ranieri’s
“Cenotaph of a Clown” placed second with a $1,500 prize and Kandy Lopez’s “Emmanuel” took third with a $500 prize.
Chief Curator of The Frank in Pembroke Pines, Juliana Forero, judged the competition.

The Las Olas Art Gallery Walk is back! The popular event from years past has been resurrected by our local Las Olas art galleries
for the summer months and kicked off its first event of the summer months on Thursday, June 8th. Las Olas galleries opened
their doors from 5-8 pm for the event to an enthusiastic turnout of art lovers and browsers who enjoyed the opportunity to sip
refreshments while viewing the amazing artwork in the galleries. The monthly event will continue through mid-September, so mark
your calendars for July 13, August 10 and September 14 and a fun evening of viewing world-class art right here on Las Olas.
