The range of participating restaurants is as diverse
as the population of Greater Fort Lauderdale itself.
From upscale waterfront dining to cozy, intimate
eateries tucked away in hidden corners, Dine Out
Lauderdale offers something for every palate. Here’s
a closer look at what participants can expect.
Situated along the picturesque Las Olas Boulevard,
Casa Sensei offers a dining experience that is
as visually stunning as it is delicious. Their menu
perfectly harmonizes Pan-Asian and Latin flavors into
an unforgettably delicious menu, including Lobster
Guacamole, Red Shrimp Ceviche and Korean
Grilled Steak Chimichurri with Wasabi Mashed
Potatoes. Dine amid the restaurant’s warm, rustic
ambiance featuring Indonesian teak furniture, or
select the Gondola Experience. Yes, Casa Sensei
takes full advantage of its setting on the Intracoastal
Waterway and invites patrons to order their meal
ahead and then dine on a gondola as they glide
along the waterway.
Another exciting participant is Velvet Taco, located
on the Riverwalk, known for its bold, globally-
inspired taco creations. This trendy eatery takes the
humble taco to new heights with inventive fillings and
vibrant flavors. Their Dine Out menu might include
options like the Cuban Pig taco, featuring slow-
roasted pork, ham, Gruyere cheese, and pickles, or
the Spicy Tikka Chicken taco, which blends Indian
spices with traditional taco elements. Velvet Taco’s
eclectic approach ensures a dining experience that is
both familiar and refreshingly new.
For those seeking a more casual dining experience,
Louie Bossi’s Ristorante Bar Pizzeria on Las Olas
Boulevard offers a rustic yet refined menu. In the
past, their menu featured handmade pasta, wood-
fired pizzas, and classic Italian desserts, showcasing
the heart and soul of traditional Italian cooking with
a modern twist.
MAASS, located at the Four Seasons Hotel
and Residences Fort Lauderdale is all about
contemporary wood-fired delights, borrowing flavors
from both Europe and Japan. MAASS serves up a
wide range of wine selections and a cocktail menu
that pays homage to Fort Lauderdale’s “Venice of
America” vibe, drawing inspiration from the sleek
boats and yachts that define the local culture. DUNE
by Laurent Tourondel features a more sophisticated
menu with a focus on high-quality ingredients.
