             FOOD & DRINK

             CARROT EXPRESS
Founded in 1993, Mario Laufer saw the lack of nutritious
cuisine in Miami Beach and started serving a balance of
delicious and healthy fare inside a gas station on Alton Road
in South Beach. More than 20 years later, Carrot Express
now has more than 20 locations throughout South Florida
and NYC. Carrot Express prides themselves on offering a
creative and extensive menu based around natural, high
quality ingredients combined with an inviting and relaxed
environment. Guests can enjoy flavorful and healthy options
catered to every diet and lifestyle including fresh salads and
wraps, collagen-boosting smoothies, hearty bowls, homemade
soups, veggie burgers, fresh pressed juices and more. The fast
casual concept is opening in September on Las Olas offering
on-site dining, takeout, delivery and catering.
             515 E.Las Olas Blvd. Suite 100.
             HATCH
Welcome to the newest hotspot for breakfast and brunch in
the heart of Flagler Village. When visiting Hatch, it’s like
stepping into a modern-day dream! This trendy, modern diner
is bursting with sunshine vibes. The walls are the most cheerful
shades of yellow and orange, just like the happiest egg yolks
you’ve ever seen! Even the coffee mugs are smiling. Grab a
seat at the counter, where there are neon signs illuminating
the walls or sit at one of the more secluded vinyl booths.
Barbie would feel right at home with the bright palettes, retro
novelty and Dua Lipa beats. The menu is both playful and
decadent. Make sure to try the flight of pancakes. The
Orange Mimosa was boozy and bubbly! And the Charleston
Benedict rocked my taste buds with its crispy southern fried
chicken, cheesy waffle bed, spinach, bacon and smoked
cheddar hollandaise. But the real fun is found on the drinks
menu where every concoction sounds so inviting. For
example, the ‘Mimosarita’ as it sounds was half mimosa, half
margarita, and totally amazing. Their Grand Opening was
on August 29 with 50% of all proceeds benefitting Voices for
Children of Broward County. 715 N. Federal Hwy.
