Also on the 4th, Charles Martin Smith (AMERICAN
GRAFFITI, THE UNTOUCHABLES, BUDDY HOLLY
STORY) stars in THIS TIME, 3pm at Savor.
The next film, at 5:15pm is PARACHUTE, written
& directed by Brittany Snow, giving you two
opportunities to see her live.
On Monday, Nov 6, 7:30, the U.S. premiere of
WITHOUT PRECEDENT: The Supreme Life of Justice
Rosalie Abella, the first female Supreme Court
Justice of Canada. Justice Abella, who now teaches
at Harvard Law School will be here for a prefilm
reception and Q&A afterwards.
Melora Hardin (THE OFFICE, TRANSPARENT) will be
at Savor on Wed., Nov 8, 5:30pm with her biting
dark comedy, GOLDEN VANITY. Following her
film, IMMEDIATE FAMILY, the true story of the studio
musicians who recorded the albums for James Taylor,
Carole King, The Eagles, Crosby-Stills & Nash and
so many more. Leland Sklar and Denny Tedesco will
be here. A party follows in the Courtyard with music
by the Martin Hand Trio.

Just two miles away at The Gateway, also on
Wednesday, we will show the documentary SIDNEY,
detailing the life of Sidney Poitier. Flying in to intro
the film will be his daughter Pamela Poitier.
The World Premiere of THE SENIOR, starring our
guest, Michael Chiklis (The Shield, FANTASTIC
4, DON’T LOOK UP), is another true story about
a college football player, kicked off the team for
fighting, discovers forty years later, he has a year
of eligibility remaining. He goes back to school and
makes the team! Ten of his movie football team will be
here as well. After the film, a football movie themed
party takes place in the street in front of the cinema.
On Friday, Nov 10, 3pm at Savor, SHOW HER THE
$ will be at Savor with one of the principals, Sharon
Gless (Cagney & Lacey). She will be joined by other
people featured in the film plus the director.
