Underway
or those of you on or around the Boulevard, you’ve
seen the demolition of the former Joseph’s on the NE
Fcorner of Las Olas and SE 8th Ave. And as you
probably know, coming to that corner is the new Capital
One Café, a new lifestyle-oriented approach Capital One
has already introduced successfully on Atlantic Ave. in
Delray Beach. It’s intended and described as “…an
inviting place where locals and visitors can go to get some
banking done, enjoy some good coffee and local snacks
or just hang out with some on-the-house WiFi.” It’s banking
reimagined and here are some of the renderings of what it
will look like. Welcome to the new Las Olas Boulevard!

New Home on Las Olas

Boulevard, Unique Treasures owner David Antebi has
Ftravelled the world for more than 35 years collecting
quality merchandise and bringing them to the finest
storefronts in the nation including successful galleries on
Rodeo Drive and 57th Street in New York City. for many
years, After retiring to South Florida a few years ago,
David became a bit restless began looking for the perfect
spot to reenergize his unique furniture and decorative arts
concept and Unique Treasures opened its doors on E. Las
Olas this past fall just two weeks after Hurricane Irma.
Antebi says every item in his gallery is a focal point and
conversation piece, hence the title of “Unique Treasures”
because that’s exactly what they are. “Las Olas is the only
street on the east coast of Florida with an incredible mix of
stores and restaurants that attracts people from all over the
world on a regular basis” says Antebi. “We are happy to
be on Las Olas and are looking forward to adorning the
beautiful homes of South Florida with our opulent and
luxurious décor.”
Unique Treasures is located at 833 E. Las Olas Boulevard,
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. Hours are Sun-Thur
10 am – 7 pm; Fri-Sat 10 am – 9 pm.
