RVCA Hosted Moderated School Board Candidates Forum
Via ZOOM on 7/20/20

The RVCA Board of Directors hosted a moderated ZOOM
forum on June 20, 2020 at 7pm for all District 3 and At-Large
Broward School Board Candidates. We hope you were able
to join in and participate. A special thank you to Chuck
Tatelbaum and Julie Hough for taking the lead on forum
organization and moderating.

Virginia Young Park & Hector Park Rebuilds Coming Soon

Christina Currie, Esq. The plans to rebuild VY & Hector Parks were approved by Fort Lauderdale’s Parks,
president@riovistaonline.com Recreation, and Beaches Board. On July 7, 2020 at the Commission’s virtual
Vice President meeting, the plans were on the agenda for Commission vote. The Commission voted
Mark Snead in favor of moving forward with funding the restoration of Hector and VY parks!

Treasurer ramps were granted. ADA ramps will be located at the intersection of SE 7 Street
