RVCA President’s Message

Change in Leadership

At our Board meeting on June 15, our President for the past four years announced
that she would be resigning her seat on the board and relocating to British
Columbia. Christina has served our neighborhood as a board member and
Secretary for the past 14 years. She is leaving very big shoes to fill and will be
missed. The board has chosen to name me the interim President. I expect that
we will be ready to name a permanent replacement in the fall. Please join me in
wishing Christina the best of luck in her new endeavors! If anyone is interested in
getting more involved in our community, we have several committees where you
could help. Just let me know what you are interested in.

We continue to look for ways to get our neighbors more involved in the
neighborhood. Our first couple of ‘Movies in the Park’ were a big hit, attracting a
OFFICERS larger than expected crowd. A big thank you to Ryan Lehrer and Evan Jaxtheimer for
Vice President putting this together. Our million orchids project has generated interest from 70

neighbors will be leaving for extended vacations. Please help keep an eye on your
Secretary neighbors homes while they’re gone and report anything suspicious to the police.

on the concerns of improper use. We continue to work with the City’s Department of
