Commissioner’s Message
Neighbors,
his summer, the Rio Vista Civic Association hosted a successful Neighborhood
Safety and Security Webinar. Thank you to the 81 residents who joined us!
TThank you to Rio Vista Civic Association President Lori Stirling for helping to
make this possible.
I attended alongside City Manager Rickelle Williams, Police Chief Schultz, and
other city staff to discuss current challenges in our neighborhood and solutions.
I am working closely with the City team on a proposed ordinance to allow for the
potential use of gates, creating a clear and helpful path forward. Reducing crime
and strengthening our neighborhood remain top priorities, and I will keep you
updated as this work progresses.

A reminder: hurricane season runs through November 30th. Please take steps
