RVCA President’s Message
uch has been going on within the Rio Vista Civic Association in the past
couple of months. As you know, Warren Sturman has retired from his
Mpost as long time RVCA President. Thank you, Warren, and good luck on
your future endeavors. I am happy to announce that after 10 years as the Secretary
and about a year as Vice President I will now be serving as RVCA President. I look
forward to seeing an active and effective RVCA. I am also looking forward to
working with our new Vice President, Mike Orlando and Secretary, Fred Stresau.
These two men are RVCA veterans and I think our diverse points of view and
experience will work well together. I’d also like to welcome Rob Ward and Bill Kirk
who IBWF just joined the RVCA Board.
Rio Vista is a great neighborhood filled with talented and hard-working families
who have so much to contribute to the betterment of our neighborhood and City.
Volunteering is something that we can all do in a variety of ways. I intend to
Christina Currie, Esq. facilitate more RVCA neighborhood volunteer opportunities. RVCA will participate in
President Fort Lauderdale United Day in January; get ready to volunteer with us! If you have
an idea as to how we can participate in this special da y please let me know.
OFFICERS AT you know, RVCA is a volunteer organization comprised of Rio Vista residents.
President During my time on the RVCA CPBSE I have heard many opinions on the purpose and
Christina Currie, Esq. effectiveness of our volunteer board. Now is a great time for you to share feedback
