but securing the funding was an important first step.
VACATION RENTALS – In August, I convened a meeting of
one of the leading vacation rental platforms, neighborhood
leaders, and City staff to discuss the challenge some
neighborhoods face with poorly managed vacation rental
properties. We are working together to assess our current
code for vacation rentals, find more ways to address those
rentals that do not adhere to City code, and to update our
code. I'm bringing together other vacation rental platforms
to work with us collectively to find solutions.
