Our Holiday Party

is Back!

We are so excited to

announce the return of

the annual Rio Vista

Holiday Party!!!

lease join us on Saturday, December 4th from
6:00-9:00 pm in Virginia Young Park, rain or shine.
PEveryone who lives in Rio Vista is welcome to attend.
If you have moved into our beautiful neighborhood in the past
year, welcome, and everyone, please come out and meet
your neighbors!
We hope you will be joining us for dinner under the stars for
a nominal charge. Also, we have an ice cream truck coming
and we hear ten flavors will be available with assorted
toppings. So please bring your appetites! As always, the
evening will also feature an Arts and Crafts table for the
younger ones to explore their inner Picasso.

This year’s party will feature a live band, Blackwater Sound,
with Rio Vista roots! BlackWater Sound is Fort Lauderdale’s
newest and hottest teen rock band. The band is made up of
five musicians, some of whom live in Rio Vista, and have all
been playing their instruments and taking music lessons for
years. This group of talented young musicians, whose ages
range from 11 to 17, have been entertaining local audiences
over the last several months and are excited to be playing at
the Rio Vista holiday party. The band includes brothers, Jake
and Cole, who are Rio Vista residents, and have been
attending the holiday party since they were small children.
The band covers classic and southern rock covers including
popular songs by The Beatles, The Doors, the Allman
Brothers, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, ZZ Top, Eric Clapton,
Lynyrd Skynyrd, and others. If you would like to hear a
