Single Stream Recycling
The City of Fort Lauderdale
has delivered our blue bins for Improvement Association of
recycling newspapers, cans,
plastic, cardboard all at once.
No need to separate the
contents. Please recycle. Every
Monday, the blue bin should
be placed at your curb.
Bulk Pick Up
Bulk pick up is the fourth
Friday of the month. Please
do not put discards out earlier
than the fourth Thursday of
the month.

President's Message
Dear Neighbors,
ur water main project has now been completed and it is great to have
clean water in our homes. Thank you to the City of Fort Lauderdale! The
O new pavement and striping has given a fresh look to our neighborhood.
The Ferrari-Maserati Dealership is renovating their property and we have tried to
coordinate with them to relocate the powerlines underground so that there will be
flexibility to plant trees and landscaping to camouflage the rear of their building
with a green space for our Lake Estates Linear Park. We have coordinated with the
City’s Legal Department to meet with FPL and the dealership to work out agreements
for the use of the right of way. The dealership recently informed us that there will be
agreements required with individual homeowners and businesses to enable the
project to meet the requirements of FPL. We have called a meeting to define what is
necessary to keep this project on track. We will keep you posted.

Estates. Lake Estates is a unique community to live in. Most of the homes are on
water and the location of the neighborhood affords our residents an opportunity to
take advantage of the close proximity to the beach and yet be only fifteen minutes
from Interstate I-95 providing a direct link to Miami to the south and Palm Beach to
the north and all points in-between.
