President’s Message
ummer in South Florida always brings
its own set of challenges — heat,
Shumidity, and the occasional
heavy storm—but it also reminds us
of the beauty that surrounds our
community. This year, we want
to give a heartfelt thank you to the
incredible volunteers who have been
diligently watering the new orchids. With the
lack of rain and the intense summer sun, your
efforts have made all the difference in keeping
our new blooms thriving.
We also extend our gratitude to the Parks and Recreation team for the much-
needed planting improvements along the Bayview Drive medians. These
enhancements have been a long time coming, and they truly add vibrancy to
our neighborhood. Many residents have reached out with kind words about the
planting improvements and new orchids, sharing how their daily walks and drives
feel brighter and more joyful with a bit more beauty along their route.
A special thank you also goes out to the residents from the Landings volunteering at
the City of Fort Lauderdale Jazz Brunch Event, ensuring recyclable materials were
placed in proper bins and collected at the end of the event. This volunteer work
qualifies towards sustainability points from Green your Routine, which results in
cash payments to the Association rewarding our various efforts towards a greener,
more sustainable city.
