President's Message
The Landings Residential Association
Greetings Neighbors:
What has your board done for you lately,
you might ask. I will be happy to tell you.
ou all know we have been working on determining if we can install traffic
barrier gates to the entrances to The Landings. That is a work in process that
Ywill take much time and effort. Before we can know if the City of Fort
Lauderdale will allow the gates, we need to determine the level of support for the
gates in the community. That is why we held the neighborhood meeting on
November 25. I hope you all attended and got your questions answered and let us
know whether you are in favor of the gates or not. Once we have determined the
level of support we can go back to the city if there is enough support. We will keep
you informed.
In addition to the traffic gates, we are working with the city to get a number of other
projects accomplished. They include:
Mike Watson, President 1. Flashing speed notification signs on Bayview Drive and NE 55th Street similar
