President’s Message
he holiday season is upon us, and I hope the storms
and rain will give way to sunny skies in the months
Tto come. Like last year, the annual Block Party was
a great success! We switched it up again this year with
Pizza from Anthony’s. The raffle fundraising element that
we started last year not only added to the fun but enabled
us to keep the net party cost down. Thank you again to all
the donors and volunteers for making this event so great.
A special "Thank you!' goes out to Anne Maschmeyer, our
fabulous Social Committee Chairperson!
Anne & Mike Maschmey
The Block Party is such a wonderful kickoff to the winter season when most of our
Helena Cooper part-time residents are back in town. Almost 90 residents attended this year and
PRESIDENT
helena@coopgroupllc.com got a chance to mingle and catch up with old neighbors and meet new ones as
well. As of this week, we have received 101 memberships for 2024 and our goal
OFFICERS is to exceed our membership base of nearly 200 in the last two years. With 365
VICE PRESIDENT homes in the community, it is surprising that just over 50% of the homeowners
Anne Maschmeyer choose to be members. Everyone benefits from the Boards’s work and commitment
annemasch@yahoo.com and knowing our neighbors is vital to a prosperous community. So please send
SECRETARY in your dues and application if you have not already done so! We would love
Dana Mullaney to meet you at one of our events or to share thoughts and skills on one of our
danatmullaney@aol.com committees. We welcome anyone interested in getting involved.
TREASURER To reach out to a wider range of residents, we are going to start Curbside Cocktail
Kathleen Cool
kacool1@aol.com evenings starting in January 2024. The first one is planned for Thursday January
11th from 5:30-7:30. The events will be hosted on different driveways each
month. Guests are encouraged to bring their beverage of choice and an appetizer
BOARD MEMBERS to share. This is a spinoff of the “meet and greets” of years past and we figured
this less formal approach would bring even more residents together. See the
Cheryl Becker advertisement on page 14 in this issue.

We are excited about our progress with the Green Your Routine Program, in which
Helen Bennett
helenbennettnj@gmail.com we can help do our share in recycling, while earning points towards cash payouts
to our Association. We have started to receive money for our part in the program.
Scott Cooper
scott@coopgroupllc.com Part of the money will be used to fund sustainability projects in our neighborhood.
As a reminder, please tell your yard maintenance people not to blow debris into
Ronnie Dennis the canal. See the Public Service Announcement on page 20 in this issue.

All the Landings households benefit from the hard work and dedication this board
Diane Dodich
dionline94@aol.com and our committees put in on your behalf. We work closely with elected officials,
city and county departments to maintain and improve our Landings community.
Michael Maschmeyer
mike@urbanrooftops.com Thus, keeping it safe and beautiful for all our residents.
Shahina Siddiqi We have pushed and continue to push for various road repairs and landscape
shahina507@yahoo.com improvements throughout the Landings. Due to City procurement delays, the
landscaping improvements at the medians and monuments have been delayed and
are now expected to begin next year.
I wish you all a happy holiday season and look forward to another successful year
of working together for the betterment of the Landings!
