Annual Meeting Minutes & Presentations continued

Jeff Stich made the motion and Bruce Quailey seconded.
             The motion was passed unanimously.
Steve Hillberg from the City of Fort Lauderdale Public
Works Department reported that the road dip on
Bayview cannot be corrected by pipelining and that
it will have to be dug up to make repairs. The work
schedule has not been announced, but will take about
             three weeks to complete.
Kristen Thompson from the City of Fort Lauderdale
Transportation and Mobility Department reported that
the installation of the 40 new speed cushions and
repainting of asphalt speed bumps will take place
             this spring.
The work on Bayview Dr from Sunrise to Commercial
is scheduled to begin in May 2022. The extent of the
work includes roundabouts with landscaping, water and
electricity at 37th Dr and NE 47th St and a raised table
intersection at NE 40th St. and installation of sidewalks
so there will be sidewalks on both the east and west
sides of Bayview Drive all the way from Sunrise to
Commercial. The result will beautify Bayview, slow traffic
             and improve pedestrian safety.
Vicki Lynch and Lt. DeAnna Greenlaw reported on
the Security Patrol. Off-duty police officers in marked
police vehicles will circulate through CRCCE checking
homes that are subscribed to the Patrol. The cost per
homeowner per year is $450. Lawn signs designating
participating homes will be distributed. The private
phone number for Patrol officers and the email address
to request away service will be provided to subscribers.
Dr. Paige O’Mahoney with the help of block captains
will go door to door distributing information and
             applications for the Security Patrol.
Jason Ulbrich is working with area commercial
businesses to decrease the number of homeless who
camp and sleep on their property.
Tim called for the election of the new Board. Ballots
             were submitted.
             The meeting adjourned at 9:25PM.

             Respectfully submitted,
             Vicki Lynch
             Board Secretary
