                Security Patrol Plan











                     he residents of Coral Ridge Country
                     Club Estates, consisting of
              T approximately 1270 single family
              homes, and another 1300 units in multiple small
              and large condo buildings and apartments,
              dozens of small and large commercial and retail
              businesses and bounded on three sides by major
              roads with easy access in and out of the
              neighborhood, can increase their personal and
              property security by implementing a Security
              Patrol System similar to other neighborhoods in
              Fort Lauderdale.
              The neighborhood of Rio Vista with
              approximately 1000 homes, several small
              condo buildings and less than a dozen small
              businesses set up a Security Patrol system in
              2008. Mark Snead of the Rio Vista Civic
              Association Board co-founded and currently
              co-chairs the Patrol. He graciously shared his
              insight and experience and is willing to offer his
              guidance to CRCCE.

              • The RV Civic Association contracts with the city
               for off-duty officers to patrol their neighborhood
               in uniform and in city patrol cars.
              • A minimum of 400 homeowners participating
               at $435 per year provides 11 – 12 hours of
               staggered coverage per day.
