President's Message

                                                 Hello Neighbors,

                                                 Some quick updates for everyone...

17th Street Bridge Opening Timing Trial
Commissioner Ben Sorenson has worked with the US Coast Guard to have a trial on
reducing the 17th Street bridge openings. This will happen between June 2, 2025 and
November 28, 2025. During this period – with the exception of federal holidays – the
                                                 bridge will not open on weekdays at 7:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 4:30 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.
After the end of November hopefully a determination will be made on whether this can
be extended to reduce backups during heavier vehicle traffic times moving forward.

                                                 Hurricane Season is coming

                                                 Utility Undergrounding
                     Pat Riley
patr@harborbeach.org The Utility undergrounding application has been submitted to the City of Fort
Lauderdale and we are in touch with the City to keep the process moving. To set
Tim Stocksdale expectations - this project will take many years but there are many steps. We are
tims@harborbeach.org focused on ensuring no delays are due to the Association. We hope we can provide
updates on the earlier steps regarding the engineering planning and coordination of
Jake Wurzak parties this year – but we are going to stay focused to keep delays to a minimum.
               jakew@harborbeach.org
In addition, we have re-engaged the City at several departments to coordinate the
ongoing regular services in our neighborhood. The City has been very responsive,
and we are optimistic that we can stay top-of-mind to ensure our neighborhood can
                                                 receive some ongoing touchups.

                                                 Landscaping Refresh
Through member assistance and support landscaping services are looking at a refresh
for our landscaping around our guardhouses and common areas. We want the result
to be in line with our neighborhood but also to compliment the new colors of the
guardhouses. We have restarted our efforts to improve the landscaping throughout the
neighborhood and look to add the seasonal decorations in the future months. HB
                                                 Stay safe through the summer,
