Is there money to move ahead with the project? Does the
cost address our most important priorities?
Does narrowing and closing streets really improve mobility?
With thousands of new residential units planned on the
Beach, in the Downtown and in the neighborhoods along
Las Olas, will this plan prepare for the increased density, or
will it lock in roadblocks to future mobility?
Frank Stranahan and other early leaders recognized the
importance of connecting the downtown in its infancy
to the Beach by building a road with bridges over the
waterways. Does this plan honor and perpetuate the legacy
they gave us?
And, at the end of the project, will mobility be any safer or
more efficient?
