countries will screen. And don’t worry, this line-up includes
comedies, thrillers, mysteries, sexy films plus documentaries,
animes and shorts…and you don’t need to be an expert or
reader of the Sunday NY Times Art & Leisure section to
appreciate. Having the filmmakers at their film, before and
after, is a great touch. And many of the screenings include
Provocativo and hors d’oeuvres.
On Thursday November 9th we have our Centerpiece Film &
Party, always a very special evening. On Saturday, November
11th, FLIFF On The Beach at Las Olas Oceanside Park…dress
like you’re going to the beach. As with all our major parties,
expect an open bar, great food, live entertainment and terrific
mingling and people watching.
I know there are one or two, ok, perhaps three of you out
there that have never been to a film festival (and you have one
of the top ones right here in your backyard…FLIFF is rated in
the Top 100 Festivals in the World by filmmakers, and there
are 4,000 film fests around the globe)…so you’re thinking, I
don’t know what to do, what to say, how to dress, who to vote
for…relax, if you’ve ever been to the movies, you know how
