RVCA Update
LPR CAMERAS
RVCA moving forward
with installation of
LPR Cameras
Our RVCA Vice President,
Mark Snead, has been
working for over a year
with Fort Lauderdale
Police Department and
various contractors on the
purchase and install of
Fixed License Plate
Readers in Rio Vista. We are happy to announce that we
have signed a contract for two installations. Through the
generosity of a Rio resident who gave a challenge gift of
$10,000 to support these installations and perhaps a third
location. We are delighted that our generous neighbors
have donated the full $10,000! A special thanks to Liz
Caldwell for closing out the match. We still need funds for
additional installations so please consider donating. You
may do so by going to our web page at
riovistaonline.com/membership and scroll down to the
DONATE button.
