ur annual member's meeting is on for March 24 at 7:00 pm. For the first
time, we will be using Zoom for this event. Ben Sorenson will be attending
Oto update us on City issues and answer our questions. We have two open
board seats to be filled and all leadership positions to be confirmed.
We have been working on security cameras for a few years and will have a
proposal presented at this meeting. The proposed system will have cameras that use
solar energy for power and cell service to communicate. We feel that this approach
is reasonably priced and addresses our security concerns.
Covid-19 vaccines are making progress. 19% of Broward County residents have
received at least one vaccine injection. People 65 and older and frontline health
care workers can visit (myvaccine.fl.gov) to pre-register for vaccine appointments that
become available in their area. You may call 866-201-6313 for an appointment.
The Fort Lauderdale Police Department is taking a Community Survey
This community survey is about policing in the City of Fort Lauderdale. The survey

Treasurer Recycling Audits On Going
Bonnie Rogers Volunteers have been participating in Recycling Audits in Fort Lauderdale. Teams
work one morning (two hours) for three weeks in various neighborhoods. We guide
Welcome Committee residents regarding what's in their containers! If you believe in recycling, this is a
Chair volunteer opportunity for you. I am one of those volunteers. It is clean fun, you are
Linda Brand outdoors, get to meet new people, and it's for the community!
Sign Up For Green Your Routine
44TH ANNUAL BROWARD COUNTY WATERWAY CLEANUP. Every Weekend in
March in Broward County. Volunteers will be picking up trash and debris from
waterways and along the shoreline and recording their activity in the Clean Swell
App. This event is open to all associations. Please coordinate with me if you are
going to participate. You can register at waterwaycleanup.org.
Cordova Road Project
The original Cordova Road Complete Streets project was withdrawn. But we are not
done; with the City's help, we still can make safety and neighborhood
beautification work. We are working with the City and Harbordale Civic
Association on a new proposal addressing the community needs and business
owners' concerns.
