e have received word that our 13th Street Bridge will be replaced
within the next two to three years. In the City’s next year’s budget they
Whave allocated $375,000 for a preliminary review and a statement
of work to facilitate the design and bidding. The scope of this project is to replace
the bridge and make the sidewalk ADA compliant (4 feet wide) and will include a
gate that will increase security. The City has also reported that there is $8 million

Your Lauderdale Harbors Improvement Association has elected two new board
members, Kate Zebrowski and Patty Hawk. They will assume the two vacant seats.
TEAM LHIA Kate will take the two-year term vacancy and Patty will take the seat with a one-
year vacancy. Both will be able to run again when their terms conclude. Here is a
little background on each of them:

Vice-President Born and raised in California and moved here in 2017. I’ve been married to Dave
for 31 years and have three adult kids: Matt, Megan, and Scott, who live in LA,
Aimara Sage San Francisco, and Chapel Hill, NC.
Secretary
John Calabrese I’m a Senior Marketing Manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and have
Treasurer been in the software business my whole career.
Bonnie Rogers We love our new neighborhood - lots of full-time friendly neighbors and close to
restaurants, shopping, and LYC.
Board Members Dave and I are avid boaters, scuba divers, pickleball players, and travelers.
Pam Barlow Anna My particular interest is for us to take pride in this beautiful area we live in
Carpenter Larry and preserve our property values by maintaining homes and yards, respecting
neighbors by not parking on lawns, and not letting houses fall into disrepair. And
