House Decorating Contest & Halloween Movie Night

Fall is in the air, and Rio Vista is
ready to celebrate in a big way!
Our neighborhood’s favorite fright-
filled tradition, the All Hallows House
Decorating Contest, is back for a
second year!

Starting October 10, you can sign up
to enter your home in this friendly
neighborhood showdown. Please
email president@riovistaonline.com
to compete! Whether you’re crafting
a creepy graveyard or something
completely unexpected, this is your
chance to wow your neighbors and
show off your creative side.
Once the cobwebs are hung and
the pumpkins are lit, voting will open
October 28 and run through
midnight on Halloween, October 31.
Winners will be announced
November 1 by email.
All participating addresses will be
posted on the RVCA website at
riovistaonline.com/news/halloween-
contest, and ‘contest participant’ signs
will be displayed in front yards. Voting
is easy—every yard sign will have a
QR code and a link, you choose either
way to place that vote!
So follow the map to lead you to
the contestants by taking a stroll
(or a spooky drive) throughout the
neighborhood to enjoy all the
creativity on display. It’s one of the
best ways to feel the magic of
Halloween in Rio Vista.

in the Park is coming up! It’s another
Spoktacular Halloween tradition in Rio
