Most Admired Teacher(s)/Professor(s)/ Why? I most admire Julie Dobrow, one of
my professors at Tufts. I took a few classes with her over my four years, and she
taught me how to combine my love of media with my passion for education. It
was in her Media Literacy course that I saw how both of my fields of interest
could come together, and it inspired me to apply to graduate school. It is
because of Professor Dobrow that I will be earning my Master's of Education
from Teachers College at Columbia University.
Most Influential Person/People/ Why? The most influential person in my life is my dad. He raised me by himself for my
entire life, and I can never repay him for all that he has sacrificed for me. He showed me integrity, empathy,
compassion, and kindness; I wouldn't be who I am today without him.
