Vicky Bakery was founded in 1972 in Hialeah by Cuban exiles Antonio & Gelasia Cao and began making pastries in the same
way they made them in Cuba. It has remained a family business ever since and has expanded to 17 different locations in South
Florida. Vicky’s Baker Fort Lauderdale, located at 4 W. Las Olas Blvd., held its’ Grand Opening in August with a rousing ribbon-
cutting celebration.
