             Andrew Cotton

New River Fine Art is proud to announce “100% Cotton”- New Works by Andrew Cotton, the debuting solo exhibition by
Andrew Cotton, featuring the split-portrait portrayals that have gained the artist international recognition along with new text-
based works, abstract paintings, collaged surfboards, vintage Americana, gorgeous pinups, Hollywood icons, and coastal
beach scenes, opening September 15, 2022, and running through October 16, 2022.
“100% Cotton”- New Works by Andrew Cotton shows a resourceful artist in tune with his own artistic practices.  Cotton
embraces his coveted family lineage and formulaically calculates the building of his own brand with a narrower and more
focused mindset to produce artwork that successfully blends pop culture, nostalgia, friendships, and kinships – a culmination
where his authenticity is key for success. And his signature aesthetic caught the eye of rapper and record executive, Jay Z, who
would become one of Cotton’s earliest A-List collectors. - at New River Fine Art. 822 E. Las Olas Blvd. 954.524.2100
             Susan Hanssen

Las Olas Capital Arts is proud to host its 18th
artist, Susan Hanssen, on Thursday October 20th
from 6-9 pm. A reception will be held at the Las
Olas Capital Advisors office, located at 888 E. Las Olas Boulevard,
             Suite 200.

Susan Hanssen has been an award-winning painter for several
years and she is well-known in south Florida for her unique and exciting work. Susan’s
most recent paintings have transitioned from paper to large canvas. Her work is narrative,
painting “stories” with metaphor and unexpected images. Susan’s images can be haunting
and at the same time full of whimsy.
Susan is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society, American Watercolor
Society and the Florida Watercolor Society. She has taught numerous workshops across
Florida and New Mexico. Susan continues to teach in south Florida, primarily in watercolor
and gouache. Her work can be viewed on Instagram @Susanfrosthanssen or on her website
