In addition to the security patrols we have also been
pursuing other security and traffic abatement possibilities.
They include security gates that would open and close
automatically for each car that passes through along with
cameras to photograph the license plate of each car that
passes through. We are also pursuing driveway-type mirrors
at each hump bridge so that owners and residents coming
out of their driveways and from cross-streets can see
oncoming traffic before pulling out. These issues are more
complicated because they involve arrangements with the
City of Fort Lauderdale and therefore will take more time but
they are still in process.

The feedback we have received over the past year
regarding the supplemental security patrol has been
substantially positive. Obviously, the more residents that
participate the more supplemental coverage we will be able
to arrange. We hope everyone will participate for the
benefit of the whole neighborhood.
