Campout ROUND UP

2023 Campout
Another Success
On April 1, RVCA hosted its annual campout
at Virginia Young Park. There were tents set
up throughout the park and we had nearly
100 people in attendance by the time the
BBQ started. Dodgeball, cornhole, and
spikeball were set up, and the kids all had a
blast playing games throughout the day.
The mounted police paid a surprise visit
to the kids’ delight. A movie was played
once the sun went down…although some
of the dad’s in attendance brought out a TV
and had the Final Four games on! But the
highlight of it all for the kids were the s’mores
after the movie.
RVCA wants to thank our resident volunteer
and campout wizard Brian Ager, board
members Ryan Lehrer and Evan Jaxtheimer,
along with resident volunteers Alex Jean and
Diego Beltran for their hard work, planning
and setting up the campout. We also want
to give a special thank you to Tripp Scott, PA,
for underwriting the BBQ and to Long, Jean,
& Weschsler, P.A. for providing the game
equipment.
We look forward to seeing you next year!
